A group show of contemporary new media art
Dongdaemun Design Plaza, Seoul
Four of our artworks feature in LUX: Poetic Resolution, an exhibition of contemporary new media art in Seoul.
Held at the Zaha Hadid-designed Dongdaemun Design Plaza, the exhibition features large-scale installations by 12 international artists and collectives. It follows an earlier iteration, LUX: New Wave of Contemporary Art in London (2021).
Named after the Latin word for light, LUX: Poetic Resolution is an exhibition about light and perception. It explores the potential to create something poetic through emerging technologies.
The exhibition brings together artworks that challenge the boundaries between the natural and the artificial, between humanity and technology, and that open up new ways to perceive our place in the world.
It features our interactive works Into the Sun and Future You, video artwork Transfiguration (2020), and immersive installation Communion (2020).
Other exhibiting artists: Adrien M & Claire B, Je Baak, DRIFT, fuse*, Julianknxx, Krista Kim, Marshmallow Laser Feast, Carsten Nicolai, Pipilotti Rist, Cao Yuxi, and Maxim Zhestkov.
Presented by SUUM X at Dongdaemun Design Plaza, Seoul, South Korea.
Open 5 September–31 December 2023.
