A virtual intervention layered into the fabric of the real 798CUBE space.
In this site-specific work, we introduce a hidden virtual dimension that overlays the familiar landscape of 798CUBE.
Within it, two giant figures roam—cloaked in adaptive, chameleon-like skins that continuously shift in response to the textures and tones of their surroundings.
Though towering in scale, these figures move with an instinct to disappear. Their surfaces mimic the environment so completely, they seem to vanish into it—always present, yet always on the edge of perception.
They drift silently among everyday visitors to the 798CUBE space, unnoticed. The humans carry on unaware, as if the giants were never there at all.
Created for Future You: Code and Soul, our solo exhibition at 798CUBE, Beijing, China, 28 June–8 October 2025.
