🌿 Tetrachromia

Seeing nature through the eyes of a bird

Tetrachromia is a series of moving image artworks continuing the studio’s exploration into the digital representation of nature.

The video series takes its name from the scientific term used to describe the expanded range of colours that exist beyond normal human perception.

These digital nature films are inspired by the knowledge that birds can see colours across a broader spectrum, causing apparently green plants to become imbued with vibrant patterns and shades.
